Teer Valve Co. Ltd has introduced its bearing retainer typepipeline ball valve. Suitable for use in long oil and gastransporting pipelines and industrial pipelines, the valve offersmany features such as: small pressure loss, quick open and close,agile controlling. To construct the valve the company first usedforged material for body, body connectors and ball to assure thesealing ability. Secondly, the ball was fixed in symmetricaltrunnion holes at up and down positions which have a slidingretainer in the middle. This design can guarantee the ball to bearall the fluid pressure from the pipeline when the valve is fullyclosed and under full pressure. With this design, the stem will notbe pushed by fluid pressure from the pipeline, so the stem will notbear extra torque. Thirdly, the fixing set is of a trapeziformsection design which effectively uses inner body space.
